About

Founded on October 11, 2011 by a single writer known as papermario, Hiroi Sekai was created with the intention to spread the word about the vast world of Japanese and Western entertainment. The blog name Hiroi Sekai basically translates out to vast world, symbolizing the content of the blog itself.

With this blog, the goal is to bring you, the reader, multiple perspectives and opinions on subjects so you can determine if it’s for you or not. Articles here also fall under both general categories and creative segments, in which information is to be provided through unique and sometimes even wacky methods. Hopefully you’ll enjoy reading the blog; feel free to leave comments as they WILL get a response!

Hiya, papermario here! I’m the creator of this blog and I’m a huge fan of Japan. I suppose you can say my writing style is generally a mix of dark and serious themes, with a little bit of humour (no matter how bad) thrown in. I sincerely hope you’ll enjoy reading this blog, and that it helps you find new things to enjoy!

  1. Hi there!

I just found this a second ago, not sure if you’ve seen it yet or not. It doesn’t have many views yet.. It’s a trailer for something called PES (peace eco smile). It looks AWESOME. It’s through the Toyota company, however Studio 4C is producing it — So naturally it looks pretty darn good!

Here’s the YouTube link for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUmBwuWHwLY

…I figured you’d like to see it and I know your readers like me would love to see it. Let me know what you think!!! I think the first episode is supposed to come out in a month… And then a new one every month or so. (from what I’ve read)

Keep up the good work. Love the site.

    Your reader,

    Ryan

    • Good day to you, Ryan. I thank you for sharing the link with us as it looks quite interesting. It’s kind of like a mix of Macross Frontier and Summer Wars in atmosphere and I really like the look. With a somewhat lackluster spring season from my perspective, I’ll definitely give this a look at the very least.

Many thanks again for sharing, and extra thanks for reading. :)
